This three-days event will focus on electrocatalytic systems analyzed under operando conditions with electrons, X-rays or vibrational techniques. It will cover technical and scientific challenges associated with electrocatalytic reactions related to energy storage or production (i.e. small molecules activation in oxidation/reduction reactions).

Organized in four sessions of oral presentations, one poster session, two round tables as well as informal exchange moments, it will address the following points:

(i) How theoretical and computational work can be combined with operando approaches to provide new insights on the properties of electrocatalysts and interfaces ?

(ii) What are the synergies and complementarities between laboratory-based operando techniques and their synchrotron counterparts?

(iii) What have been the most recent progresses in the field in terms of system design, new experimental and theoretical approaches?
